Beekeeper Incursion for OSHC/Vacation Care
Starting from $600+GST per session
A more scientific exploration of bees awaits you, featuring an engaging and in-depth educational talk during which we uncover some truly amazing and fascinating bee facts. Our frame of live bees will be present for an up-close visit, allowing participants to observe these remarkable creatures in action.
The children will have the unique opportunity to partake in a variety of hands-on activities allowing them to fulling immerse themselves in the role of the Apiarist. Each school holidays has a unique take home activity so check out our range of interactive and nature themed projects to suit any cohort! Some crowd favorites are tasting some of our pure raw honey, and enjoying the delightful experience of eating honeycomb directly from the frame.

Some like to gift to family or friends, others like to watch and time how long it takes to burn whilst filling the house with a warm honey and nature filled natural scent, perfect for those festive nights!
Seed Bombs
EASTER HOLIDAYS 2026
Attract pollinators by making organic seed-bombs for your garden space using clay, worm castings, peat moss and bee friendly seeds! Perfect for those autumn days where the temperature is perfect growing weather and pollinators are flocking to backyard gardens to collect honey and pollen stores for winter

Educational Session (45 minutes)
Bees are incredibly intricate and fascinating insects and most of the children already know some cool bee facts. As teachers we actively build on this knowledge so each session is slightly different depending on the children’s level of knowledge and questions

We bring a frame of real live buzzing bees where you can listen to the buzz of activity and feel the humming vibrations as the bees work to turn nectar into honey right before your eyes

Our digital microscope ignites the scientist within, fostering curiosity to look deeply at life inside the hive. Explore pollen, all the colony members and even a stinger up close like never before

At Teralba Park Honey, our incursions are thoughtfully designed by early childhood professionals with extensive experience in education and beekeeping. Our team brings a rich blend of skills from roles such as Lead Educators, Montessori Guides, and Certified Beekeepers to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
All our programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time, Our Place, supporting every child to explore, discover, and grow in a nurturing environment.
